About Us

We are the Byerleys. Sean, Rae-Lynne, Weston & Kolton (I guess we can include our little dog Squiggles in there as well). We are the family that has brought Yooneek Books to our beautiful community in Okotoks and we are hoping to bring a truly local and independent bookstore to the Foothills.

We have resided in Okotoks since 2009, have raised our family here and cherished the small-town feel and vibe of this community. We could not be more thrilled to be able to offer a retail bookstore experience to the Foothills area that allows people of all ages to get lost in their imagination or enhance their knowledge in the magic of a book.
